Orphan Smile Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of orphans around the world. Our mission is to provide assistance to orphans to enable them to sustain their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and to create awareness of the despair faced by orphans around the world and the ways in which their needs can be addressed. We believe that every child deserves a loving home and the opportunity to thrive, and we work tirelessly to make that vision a reality.

The Founder
Helena Wazaria
Orphan Smile Foundation was founded by Helena Wazaria, whose life was forever changed by a visit to an orphanage in Alajo, a suburb of Accra in Ghana. On her birthday in 2022, Helena and her friends went to donate items and food to the children at the orphanage. When the kids recited some verses of the Quran for them, Helena was struck by their incredible voices and the depth of their faith despite their difficult circumstances.
As they distributed the donations and served food to the children, Helena was moved by the joy on their faces and the sense of community she felt in that moment. She realized that there was so much more that she could do to help these vulnerable children and others like them around the world.
With the encouragement of her friend, Helena set out to establish her own orphanage and provide comprehensive care and support to orphans. This was the beginning of the Orphan Smile Foundation, an organization dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of orphaned children and creating a brighter future for them.
Vision
At Orphans Smile Foundation, we strive to redefine the lives of orphans by cultivating a culture of benevolence, compassion and community among future generations. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of the PROPHET MUHAMMAD, we seek to raise awareness about the significance of caring for orphans. Our ultimate goal is to create a world where every orphan can thrive and live a fulfilling life, surrounded by love and support.
